The TCS FDE model only scales if it can be taught. The Academy is where someone goes from “I have heard of forward deployed engineering” to certified, working practice — induction, a pathway shaped to their role, assessments that mean something, and a certification backed by a published rubric. It is the piece that makes the model reproducible rather than dependent on the people who already have the mindset.
FDE Induction
The Day 0–30 front door: the mindset film, four part-time weeks linked to the live model, and a Day-30 gate that ends induction with evidence rather than attendance.
Skill Taxonomy
498 skills across 9 domains and 69 sub-domains, tiered gating / assessed / extended on the E0–E5 spine — with decay profiles, so a stale claim is discounted rather than silently trusted.
